Information on Check-in for Prek-11th grade Clay Center students WHEN: Thursday, May 21 WHERE: Clay Center Community High School TIME: 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. If possible, please try to come at the times listed below: 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. Last Name of Oldest Student A-I 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. Last Name of Oldest Student J-R 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. Last Name of Oldest Student S-Z The drop off will be open until 6 p.m. WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME? You should have received an email with items listed on Friday. DO STUDENTS HAVE TO COME ON MAY 21 OR CAN IT BE PARENTS ONLY? Either option works. WHAT IF I CAN'T FIND ONE OR MORE OF THE ITEMS LISTED ON THE DOCUMENT? We will not be collecting money from you at this time. Any items not turned in will be added to your fees when enrolling next year, with the exception of technology. You must turn in all technology on May 21. WHAT IF WE ONLY HAVE ONE ITEM TO RETURN, SUCH AS A LIBRARY BOOK? We would still like for you to come, but we will have a different line to make the process easier for you. Have your computer fully charged. 2. If you purchased iTunes content in iTunes, de-authorize the computer: With iTunes open along the top is STORE > choose de-authorize this computer. 3. Go to System Settings>iCloud uncheck Find My Mac. Sign out of iCloud 4. Email any documents/photos you want to keep or put them on an external drive. HOW DO I PREPARE MY IPAD FOR CHECK IN? (ONLY FOR FRESHMEN AND SOPHOMORES) 1. Have your iPad fully charged. 2. Go to Settings>iCloud and turn off Find my iPad. 3. Back up to the cloud or email any items to yourself you want from your iPad. A. If you are receiving a laptop next year, you do not need a backup of your iPad. Go to Settings>iCloud>Manage Storage>Delete the backup of your iPad so it doesn't take up any iCloud storage room. . HOW MUCH DOES IT COST IF MY LAPTOP OR ACCESSORIES ARE DAMAGED? Damage to Laptop: $200 Damage to snap on plastic case: No charge - abusive $16 Damage to or lost bag: $24 Damage to or lost power cord: $79 Note: A bag or power cord purchased on your own does not qualify as a substitute. Stickers on the laptop: $5 Note: Use only 50% rubbing alcohol to remove residue. Wet the paper towel or microfiber cloth then rub the computer. No liquid should touch the LCD screen or keyboard. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST IF MY IPAD OR ACCESSORIES ARE DAMAGED?
