Congratulations to Mr. Hoffman who was selected as Kansas School Counselor Principal advocate of the year. Each year KSCA selects three administrators in the state to receive the award. Principals are awarded based on the following: Supports specific school counseling professional development, addresses and applies data collection, demonstrates actions towards a safe and positive school climate, and embraces school counseling initiatives. Mr. Hoffman was nominated by Mr. Brummet. Dr. Lyndsey Brown, the current president of the Kansas School Counselor Association, and past USD 379 counselor presented the award.
