This week's featured Department at CCCMS is our Math Teaching Staff. We appreciate the efforts of our Math Department and are very fortunate to have such a great team! Below is a little bit more about each teacher: Cindy Roth has been teaching math at the middle school for 9 years. She has also taught 1st-3rd grades at Lincoln and Green. She and her husband live on a farm near Green. They have 2 married daughters and their first granddaughter just arrived! She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and baking. Courtney Pfizenmaier is in her 5th year at CCCMS after 15 years previous experience as an elementary teacher, elementary administrator, and STEM Coach in Geary County USD 475. She lives on a farm in southwest Clay County with her husband, four kids, cows, two dogs, and lots of farm cats. Courtney enjoys watching her kiddos extracurricular activities, reading, landscaping, and drinking Dr. Pepper. Seth Schooley has been teaching at CCCMS and CCCHS for six years. Prior to that, he taught at Wakefield for eight years. He and his wife live in Clay Center. They have two sons. He coaches cross country and track and field at the high school. Kim Davis has been teaching at CCCMS for 2 years and at CCCHS for 8 years. She is originally from South Korea and taught FACS for three years there. Then she spent 20 years teaching math and personal finance in various schools in America. She is married, has three grown children, one grandson and one granddaughter on the way. She enjoys playing piano for her church, cross stitching and learning to quilt. Thank you Math Teachers!

Today's Bengal Way Call of the Day is Anderson Craig! Anderson had a few minutes while waiting for someone to partner with, she went up to Mrs. Wietharn and asked if there was anything she could do to help her while she waited. What an awesome way to show leadership and empathy!
