Coffee Talk - Happy Hippie
Mr. Walsh's 6th grade science classes investigated the property of liquids to dissolve solids as it related to the movement of water over the Earth’s surface. First, they carried out an experiment that helped them develop an understanding of how solids dissolve into water. They then applied what they learned to explain how the natural world is affected by the physical properties of water.

We are pleased to announce that our "Like a Champion" Pillar of Leadership award this week is being presented to Tasha Siemers! Tasha embodies many of the principles outlined in the seven habits, but one that particularly shines is Habit 6: Synergize, which emphasizes creativity, cooperation, diversity, and humility. Her creative approach in the library motivates students to engage with reading, and she consistently goes above and beyond her job responsibilities to support others. Tasha's warm smile and availability for both students and staff make her an invaluable presence in our school. We are incredibly fortunate to have her in our building!

Today our "Like a Champion" Call of the Day is Paxton Bennett! One of Mrs. Pfizenmaiers' stools was loose, the top almost coming off the base. She mentioned needing some Allen Wrenches to tighten it back up. Paxton brought in two sets of Allen Wrenches and led a group of boys as they worked on the chair! Way to exhibit habit one Paxton by being proactive and remembering You're in Charge!
