CCCMS has a Youth Leaders in Kansas (YLinK) group similar to CCCHS. Mr. Brummet leads the organization. One event they sponsor is a "Creativity Club". Students come after school once a month to show off their creativity. Whether it is learning to play the guitar, creating artwork, or just hanging out and eating snacks, students love the laid-back atmosphere! #celebrate379

This week, CCCMS is celebrating College Go Week! It’s a special time to encourage our students to start thinking about their future and the many opportunities available after high school.

Each day, students will participate in activities and discussions focused on college and career readiness. We can’t wait for a week full of exploration, reflection, and inspiration as our students begin imagining their future paths!

On October 1st, 12 8th grade students participated in the Milford Lake Eco-Meet.
The team of Kylee Chaffee, Brianne Langvardt, and Claire Tadtman won 3rd overall team, which qualifies them for the State Ecomeet in November. This team also won the Interpretive portion of the contest.
The team of Jaelyn Michaud, Kennedy Shannon, and Tayleigh Taylor also placed 3rd in the Interpretive portion.

🔸 Jeremy Lund — Jeremy has been wandering the halls of CCCMS for 17 years! 🚪✨ In his spare time, he loves exploring backroads in his classic Toyota pickup. 🛻🌄

🔸 Michael Houchin — Michael has been part of our team for over a year. He grew up in Clay Center and graduated in 2012. He loves working at CCCMS and being around our students. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies and playing video games. 🎮🍿
