Clay Center Rotary president Karli Hubka spoke to the club yesterday about her new "Comfort Corner" initiative. Her goal is for all USD 379 schools to have a designated area for items like school supplies, deodorant, clothing, feminine products, snacks, etc. for those who need them. She was joined by Lincoln principal Stefanie Lane and School, Family, Community Connections Counselor Lisa Last.

The Clay Center BPW organization chose USD 379 as their local recipient, which moved us to the state competition. SAC staff members Cathy Carlson and August Clark attended the conference and accepted the award on behalf of USD 379.
