Mrs. Flegler's Agribusiness students are learning how needs and wants drive a consumer's priorities when purchasing items or traveling long distances to make purchases.
Understanding people's needs and wants, and how they relate to priorities, will help them develop business plan ideas in the future. #Celebrate 379 #case4learning

Animal products and by-products are in our everyday lives. Mrs. Flegler's Animal Science students recently looked back on the past 24 hours of where they interacted with animal products as food, fiber/hides, work, by-products, research, companionship, and recreation/entertainment. Students found multiple similarities with their peers in their interactions with animals. #Celebrate379

Mrs. Flegler's Floral Design class is kicking off the year by learning plant identification, a skill they will practice all year long. Students are using ID features to create plants they learned about with play dough. Notes can be dull, so adding hands-on components increases engagement. #Celebrate379

How do you work as a team when prepping for competitive debate? You have to learn that not everyone has the same natural abilities, background knowledge, or experiences.
Today, Mrs. Blackburn's Tiger Debaters tried to copy a simple image by working as a team! They started with different lengths of string, attached them to a marker, and then had to communicate with their group to bring the image to life. It was challenging and taught important teamwork and communication skills! Starting the year off right! #Celebrate379
