These 5th grade leaders created and led their own Bengal Innovator for their 4th and 5th grade peers accompanied by Mrs. Schurle. This included the design of a 9 day pacing schedule, presentation to Mrs. Lane, and a presentation to our GES Site Council. We are so proud of their creativity and leadership! #usd379

Pic with the Principal goes out to these two 4th grade leaders. They applied to be a junior custodian for our school jobs, and take their job at GES very seriously. They ensure the school is clean and ready for learning! Thanks gals!

A message from our CCCHS community for tonight's basketball game! Show some Hawaiian spirit!

It was a great week at GES. We love a fun spirit week! Today was especially exciting as it was dress like a teacher day, and for staff it was dress like a student day. There were doppelgängers everywhere! Check out a few in our pictures! #usd379 #Garfield379

This Pic with the Principal goes out to this 4th grade leader who is kind, caring and always willing to offer a helping hand! He goes out of his way to use manners and showcase kindness! We are so proud of him! #usd379 #Garfield379

Friday was a big day for our Career Exploration at GES. We hosted several Clay Center, Clay County and Kansas representatives. Our Career Exploration team of Mrs. Pfizenmaier, Mrs. McFall and Mr. Wichman spent lots of time putting this event together and we are thankful to those who could make it and help our students better understand the branches of the government as well as being exposed to new careers. #usd379 #Garfield379

We are so thankful to our Garfield community, our students and our STUCO leaders for setting this up. Look at all of these donations that get to find a home at the Lighthouse.

Thank you isn't enough to our incredible Chartwells team for our Thanksgiving meal. Our GES lead Ms. Tiffany served 115 people a warm meal. Mrs. Meireis and Mrs. Steenbock were also key players to this lunch being successful! Thank you to our CCCHS Chartwells staff for their time and love of prepping this incredible meal. We are so thankful. #usd379 #Garfield379

This fifth grade leader earned a Pic with the Principal for his kindness and behavior during Bengal Innovators. He stays back each day to help ensure the floor is picked up, and the materials are ready to go for the next day. This is a JR. Bengal at work! We are so proud of his leadership! #usd379 #Garfield379
