These students in Mrs. Schooley's class are exploring how to use Tinkercad and Fusion. They are using this software to create models and print them with our 3D printer. The models will be used to support the Industrial Arts and CAD I students in identifying the location of visible, hidden, and center lines in their orthographic projections. #celebrate379

CCCHS Teacher's Aide Spotlight: Annie Berggren is an aide in Mrs. Lange's class this year.
"Annie always walks in each day eager to help out, said Mrs. Lange. "You may find Annie playing a fun game of Sparkle (a counting game), working one-on-one, or walking around, encouraging the kids to do their best work. The kids love seeing Annie daily and always hate to see her leave!"
On a side note, Annie was also a first grader in Mrs. Lange's class (and in the exact same room) 12 years ago! #celebrate379

CCCHS Teacher's Aide Spotlight: Braylee Langvardt is an aide in Mrs. Payne's 2nd grade classroom.
"My class gets to do math rotations after recess, and one of the rotations is with Miss Braylee to complete a fluency activity," said Mrs. Payne. "For example, this week the activity was adding equations to 20. She is a great help with these small group rotations. My students also LOVE having Miss Braylee join us for recess. They often ask her to play Ga-Ga Ball or Four Square."

Mrs. Murphy's English Comp class has been using John Green's book "The Anthropocene Reviewed" as a basis to write their own reviews. Every chapter in Green's book is a review essay on a different topic. Students are learning about this writing style and will eventually build their own essay review on their own chosen topic. "The Anthropocene Reviewed" was the KU campus Common Read this year, and he also spoke on campus this week. As always, Mrs. Murphy gives her students lots to think and reflect on as they write! #celebrate379
