CCCHS Teacher's Aide Spotlight: Reese is an aide in Mrs. Lange's first grade classroom. "She has made so many connections with my students in and outside of the classroom," Lange says. "She encourages them and helps them read daily. She also enjoys playing with them at recess. Reese goes above and beyond as a TA! She has the biggest heart, and every child can see how much she cares. We love our time with her as she's a huge support to us all!"

Mr. Conner's classes are hard at work as always with many different projects. Although some are individual projects, others are benefitting the community. One such project is making drink coasters to give to local businesses.
The CCCHS Future Business Leaders of America went Trick-or-Treating for canned goods last night. 18 FBLA members collected a total of 411 items in only an hour! These will be delivered to the Clay Center Lighthouse. Thank you to everyone who donated items for this event!
Mr. Haist has his Strength and Conditioning classes max out at the end of each quarter in various lifts. Today was squat. The ultimate goal is to get on the Tiger Power Records board!

The first-ever CCCHS Media day was a success! Fall sports and activities got their team and "hype" photos, and Ms. McFadden's journalism students got to use some of the techniques they have been learning in her class. It was a win-win!

10 hours to 40 hours a week are available for CDL drivers
CDL training is available and paid for through USD 379

USD 379 will be offering The Parent Project (for parents of kids 11 and up) and Loving Solutions (for parents of kids under age 11) starting in mid-September. Classes are free and will meet weekly over Zoom for 10 weeks. More information below!

Today was a big day at USD 379, as all staff took in Leader in Me training. "Year Zero" is for the adults, and "Year One" will be for the kids. It was a great day of self reflection!
